Pair any stone with a setting.
Every setting is bench-tested on the shapes in today’s feed. Add one to a loose stone in the builder and check out as a finished ring on a single insured order.
Solitaire
The classic. Lightest on the finger, easy to resize, presents the stone without distraction.
Half-halo
Adds 15–20% perceived size to centre stones under one carat.
Pavé band
Sparkle along the shank without adding centre carat.
Bezel
Most secure setting available. Strong with step-cuts.
Trilogy
Past-present-future. Side stones at one-third to one-half the centre.
Cathedral
Lifts the stone, slim band, gentle shadow for added presence.
East-west
Modern orientation for ovals, pears, marquise, and emeralds.
Vintage engraved
Detailed metalwork, best paired with older or step-cut stones.
Four questions that resolve it.
Daily-removal favours a bezel or low-profile setting. A ring that stays on handles a cathedral.
Solitaires and bezels resize easily. Pavé bands and vintage engraved rings do not.
If a band is planned, the engagement setting should leave room for it to sit flush.
A high-grade round needs no halo. A modest oval can look exceptional in one.
